Cricket nets start this Thursday 4 Feb at Woodhouse Grove School 8pm-9pm.

Games Night
A games night has been organised for Friday February 12th. It will include pool, darts and Dominoes competitions. All are welcome so please come along and support your club. The evening kicks off at 7.30pm in the Esholt clubhouse

Winter Nets Start 4th February
The nets have been arranged at Woodhouse Grove School on Thursdays from 8pm - 9pm.  
3 lanes have been booked for the following dates:  
February: 4th, 11th, 25th (Excluding 18th as it is half term)  
March: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th

2010 Aire Wharfe Fixtures Published
The 2010 fixture list for the 1st and 2nd teams is now available. The firsts start with a trip to Bilton qnd the seconds are at home to the same opposition. The season starts on 17th April and finishes on 11 September

Senior Presentation Evening 2009
A sucessful night was held at the Club on Friday 23 October. Mick Scott received a special award to mark his 1500 AWSCL wickets. Nadeem Hanif also received a mounted ball to comemorate his all 10 feat against Colton CC. Jimmy Anderson was named Clubman of the year.
Prize winners were as follows:
1st Team Batting - Luke Waters, Bowling - Mick Scott, Fielding - Gareth Wilkinson
2nd Team Batting - Mark Dearden, Bowling - David Shepherd, Fielding - Sean Kirkley
3rd Team Batting - Paul McNamara, Bowling - Matthew Birkby, Fielding - Chris Williams
Clubman of the Year - James Anderson

Luke to return next season
Overseas player Luke Waters is set to return to Tong Park Esholt in 2010. Luke had a great first season in pommy land scoring 700 runs. Members can keep up to date with his performances down under by visiting the Wynnum Manly DCC web site. Click Here........>>

Bonus Ball
The club is setting up a weekly bonus ball competition. The cost is £1 per week and the prize for each weekly draw is £30. A standing order will be set up to deduct £4 from your bank account on a 4 weekly basis. The club would ask as many members as possible to join up. The draws will commence in January 2010.

Aire Wharfe League Averages Published
It was a year of nearly in the league averages for Tong Park Esholt. Luke Waters and Mick Scott both finished second in the batting and bowling respectively.

Season ends for another year
The 2009 season drew to a close on a gloriously sunny day. The firsts were defeated by champions Pool but finished a creditable 5th in the table. The seconds were disappointed to miss out on promotion after defeat at Pool but the Thirds finished in an excellent mid table position. The club is delighted with it's first season and will look to strenghten for 2010
